Usain Bolt, Weird Gestures and the Masonry Connection

Tazeen Hasan

Media has a frenzied propensity for over discussing celebrities. And the western media is quite notorious for promoting this psychic tradition. Regarded as the fastest human ever timed, Usain Bolt, a nine-time gold medalist and an eleven time World Champion, is considered the “Greatest sprinter of all time”. His achievements have earned him the media nickname “Lightning Bolt.

Achievements invariably draw one into the limelight and the limelight invites controversies and never ending gossips. No wonder some of Bolt’s gestures have prompted speculation by conspiracy theorists that the ‘triple triple’ Olympic gold winning star may well have fallen in with the notorious Free Masons or the Illuminati.  Linking his gestures with the occult symbolism a video titled, Illuminati Symbolism – Masonic Ring EXPOSED went viral.
A nine-time Olympic gold medalist, Bolt has won a bag of three gold medals at three consecutive Olympic Games, also known as the “triple-triple”, and has a 100% win record in finals. An eleven-time World Champion, he has won consecutive World Championship 100 m, 200 m and 4 × 100 metres relay gold medals from 2009 to 2015.
And finally, in 2016, he became the first track athlete in  Olympics to win three gold medals in an individual discipline, which he achieved in the 100 m and 200 m sprints.
Nevertheless, according to hearsay, Bolt, 30, may have been flashing secret signals at the Olympic Games in Rio. Occult pundits have also linked the star to Lucifer because of his nickname: ‘the Lightning Bolt’, which they say represents Satan in the bible.
Bolt has also been spotted in the past wearing a signet ring that appeared to bear the all seeing eye symbol, a design often worn by members of the Freemasons.
Many believe his habit of covering one eye and putting his fingers to his lips are connected with Freemasonry. Theories have emerged that suggest that he has won three Olympic titles in lane 6…666 is a number commonly linked to the occult.
My honest opinion about Bolt’s Free Masonry or Illuminati connection is  ‘much ado about nothing.’ It is too early to say how these gossips are going to effect Bolt. Are they going to damage the super-super star Olympians appeal or make him an even larger than life  celebrity? Or will all these inane symbolic conjectures vanish with time? Let’s wait and see.
