A mass shooting occurred on the evening of January 29, 2017, at the Centre Culturel Islamique de Québec (CCIQ; "Islamic Cultural Centre of Quebec"), a mosque in Sainte-Foy, a suburb of Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. Six people were killed and eight injured after two gunmen opened fire just after the end of evening prayers at 8:00 p.m. 53 people were reported present at the time of the shooting. Two suspects had been arrested. Quebec and Canadian authorities are treating the shooting as a terrorist attack. Wikipedia
